Cheesy Turkey Pin Wheels

This is a great lunch you can throw together quickly to feed the kids or for field meals for your farmers :D it's a fancy sandwich!

Ingredients

1 tube crescent dough rolls

1/2 lb. smoked boars head turkey meat

6 slices Colby jack cheese

1/4 cup salted butter, melted

1/2 Tbsp. poppy seeds

1/2 Tbsp. mustard

1/2 Tbsp. dried minced onion

1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce


Directions

  1. preheat oven to 350F. Place a silicone baking mat on a 9x13 baking dish.

  2. Roll out the crescent dough about 12x18 inches. Top with meat and cheese. Starting on the long side, roll the dough tightly.

  3. Pinch the ends together and cut 6-8 pinwheels, depending how thick you want them. Place on the mat evenly spaced.

  4. In a 2 cups glass liquid measure cup, melt the butter in the microwave. Add the poppy seeds, mustard, onion and Worcestershire sauce. Mix and pour over the pinwheels. Bake uncovered for 25 min. until golden brown. Enjoy!
