Peach Crisp from Homecanned Peaches

Jessica Toevs

Leftover peaches from canning turned into a sweet treat - store bought canned peaches work in this recipe, too!

Ingredients:

40 oz peaches, mostly drained

4 Tbsp. sugar

2 Tbsp. corn starch

2 tsp. cinnamon

1 Tbsp. dry tapioca

2 cups rolled oats

2/3 cup flour

1 cup brown sugar

10 tsp. butter, softened

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. In a bowl add the peaches, sugar, cornstarch, tapioca, and cinnamon. Mix and pour into a 9x13 baking dish.

  2. In a bowl mix together the oats, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Cut in the butter with a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles a cookie dough.

  3. Crumble over the peaches and bake for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Serve warm with icecream!

At the end of the day, you should smell like dirt.
