Mix and match your favorite garden veggies to make amazing kabobs! Serve with a side of fresh fruit and bread. Thank you Jesus, amen.
Ingredients
3 lbs sliced sirloin
6 Tbsp soy sauce
2 large white onions cut into 6ths
3 zucchini, 1 inch slices
3 yellow squash, 1 inch slices
2-3 Tbsp. Longhorn Steakhouse grill seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
olive oil to drizzle
* you can also use peppers or tomatoes. I used what I pulled from my garden
Directions
1. Place your sliced meat in a bowl and mix with soy sauce. Cover and let marinate in the fridge for an hour or more. When ready to begin making your meal, turn your smoker on to 230 F.
2. Prep your veggies - cut into 1 inch thick pieces to ensure they stay adhered to the skewer. I lay my vegetables in rows on a sheet pan for easy assembly. Drizzle veggies with oil, then generously salt and pepper them.
3. Keeping your marinated meat in the bowl, add the Longhorn spice and mix well. Assemble kabobs in any order! Place kabobs on the grill and smoke for 90 min., or until meat and veggies are fork tender.
