Feeling happy? Spaghetti bake. Case of the Mondays? Spaghetti bake. Friend had a baby? SPAGHETTI BAKE. A recipe appropriate for literally any occasion and can fill many bellies with minimal effort and maximum flavor.
Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 white onion, diced
1 jar spaghetti sauce
8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 lb. cottage cheese
1 stick butter
16 oz. spaghetti noodles
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Cook noodles in salted water to al dente, drain, set aside. While noodles are cooking, brown beef and onion, drain. Mix together cream cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, and parmesan.
In a 9x13 bake dish (or 2 8x8s, freeze one) , slice and place half the stick of butter onto the bottom of the pan. Top with half the noodles. Top with all the white cheese mix. Slice and place the last half of the butter stick on top of the cheeses layer. Add rest of the noodles.
Mix spaghetti sauce and meat/onion and layer on top of noodles. Top with shredded cheese until covered. Bake 45 min. until melted and bubbly. Can turn on broiler on low to brown the top cheese!
